"Well I’ll add to the numerous bad reviews about this hotel, if you can call it that , I know hostels that are better. Rude staff, dirty room, heater not working so we froze. Their idea of a bed is a sofa bed with no linen. Not enough dish ware for the room. The list goes on. Very unsatisfactory exchange with the hotel owner when we complained. Please look at how many bad reviews this place has and don’t waste your money you will be extremely disappointed"
"The staff are rude Room has no cooking utensils as states in description Dirty kitchen and bathroom Mouldy sheets And don’t bother asking for anything as they won’t give it to you not even an extra blanket. Wouldn’t stay there again even being so called cheap accommodation Basic services and cleanliness are expected no matter the price….."
"One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Appears to be a halfway house. I asked reception for toilet paper and they said they’d send housekeeping, they never did. We were left to use napkins to use the toilet. Room was graffitied. Smelt of cigarettes. When entering the room at night we saw people that were clearly on substances, it felt really unsafe. One night we got in the lift we got to level 3 and the whole elevator made a big band and we actually fell back to ground at some speed, it was terrifying. When we told reception at check out, they said they were suprised the emergency button didn’t work and that they didn’t manage the lifts. The room was overpriced for the service we received. Never ever going to stay here again."
"This is a horrible place to stay and the people who run it are terrible people, who treat people appallingly.. the photos I have posted show how disgusting the place is. Dirty uncleaned apartment and were unwilling to clean it, nor was I allowed to clean it myself. There was previous damage caused to the doors by them being kicked in and there were NO cutlery, plates or bowls or was I allowed any when I asked the manager for some. When I asked the manager for some I was refused any given to me. No, customer service and they treat people without any dignity or respect and are happy to do this when there is money involved. They are more concerned with getting money and being paid than being decent people. The cleaners were told not to clean my apartment by the manager. Also, the washing machine does not work, nor is there a power point in the kitchen for the missing toaster… there is a pretty gross kettle though. The manager is without conscience more concerned with being paid by Unison Housing and happy to do there dirty work. Lucky a friend of mine gave me a fork so I could eat my salad for dinner. As yourselves, staff at City Edge Elizabeth st saw fit to house me in accommodation where I was not afforded such basic necessities as cutlery or crockery for a period of time of 14 days or more and deemed this as suitable and adequate accommodation for a human being."
