Reviews
"I recently visited Woolworths Selandra Rise and wanted to share my experience. Overall, I found the store to be convenient and well-stocked with a variety of products. However, I do have one major complaint that significantly affected my overall satisfaction with the place. One of the main reasons I chose to shop at Woolworths Selandra Rise was its advertised closing time of 10 PM. Unfortunately, on two separate occasions within the last few weeks, I encountered an issue with their closing procedure. They closed the main entrance door around 9:45 PM, a whole 15 minutes before their official closing time. This premature closure of the store's entrance created an inconvenience for me and other customers who arrived close to the closing time. It felt frustrating to rush through the shopping process, fearing that we might not have enough time to complete our purchases. Additionally, the lack of clear communication or notice about the early door closure only added to the confusion and dissatisfaction. While I understand that it's essential for employees to prepare for closing and complete their tasks on time, closing the main entrance 15 minutes before the official closing time seems excessive. It would be more reasonable if they maintained the advertised hours and allowed customers to shop until the designated closing time. Aside from this issue, the store itself is relatively clean, and the staff members I interacted with were generally friendly and helpful. The product selection was extensive, offering a wide range of groceries and household items. The store layout was well-organized, making it easy to navigate the aisles and locate the items I needed. My experience at Woolworths Selandra Rise was overshadowed by the premature closure of the main entrance. I hope that the management takes note of this issue and makes the necessary improvements to ensure that customers can shop comfortably until the advertised closing time."
"Never buying from woolworths again, they have gone to small paper bags for a higher price, bag broke on the way home and smashed a glass bottle of soy sauce all over my shopping. Also they now record you at the checkout and will probably either get hacked or sell our facial recognition data."
"The headliner store here at Selandra Rise shopping mall and it's always a pleasant experience. It's large and well laid out and well lit with spacious aisles. The specials on our visit yesterday were amazing. The self serve checkout was fast and easy. All round a great shopping experience."
"Lack of a real Deli. Living with #Fibromyalgia getting lunch when out is difficult enough. But a supermarket not having a real Deli. Is a shocker. Another lady was just wanting a slice of cheese. I just wanted a slice of Turkey. As the, pre packed scales are set for larger quantities trying to just get enough meat for on a salad roll was difficult. This is Daft."
"The self-serve area is always dirty, smelly, and you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in months, if ever. Every time I've been during the day, the indoor trolley bay is empty or almost empty, with the bays outside always full."
