Reviews
"Tried most of their dishes, including their udons, ramens, curries, salmon & chicken. Pretty good overall for a quick and affordable meal. Appears to be operated by Japanese staff who are friendly and accommodating."
"The food use to be great. But it seems that they have changed their terriyaki salmon recipe. They no longer use the chunk of salmon instead it looks like tiny slices of smoked salmon. Very dissapointing"
"Ordered Hakata Ramen and paid $13 for it, and got a bowl of plain udon instead, not a single piece of protein in it. Supported this business through the pandemic, by taking away once every fortnight. Now I won’t be coming back."
"Ohnami started as an authentic one and only ramen speciality place a couple years back. I loved their marinated ginger pork dish and Saporo Ramen at the time. Unfortunately, they changed their business model to quickly adapt to Hornsby crowd a number of times. Now it has become a quick grab a bite and go fastfood place. I don't mind it, although I would love the Old Ohnami to return.... It has become my go to place for a quick snack or a light meal (udon and karake chicken with rice for under $15)."
"A great ramen for only $10 in a simple venue. I am annoyed at myself that I missed the more traditional Tonkotsu with chashu pork on the menu, and opted for a tonkotsu with teriyaki chicken, but after months without a good ramen it definitely hit the spot."
