"Perhaps the best Chinese noodle take-away in Hornsby. We do a family dinner once a month because of its excellent quality, quantity and value for money. Our teenagers in particular love this place. Every dish I have tried was excellent (taste, quantity, freshness, presentation). Also good to reheat if you can’t finish it in one sitting as the portions are generous. The staff is always friendly, and prepare your meal as soon as you give your order. They will do their best to accommodate variations and keep meticulous notes to avoid errors. The shop is setup as a take-away, but there are a few chairs and tables to eat in or wait for your meal. It seems to me that if you sit-it your portion is even bigger :-) Highly recommended."

"Best noodles in the area, been coming here from western Sydney for over 10 years just for their noodles!"

"Used to be the favourite place to have Fried Hokkin Noodles and Laksa for my kids. Lately, they have been complaining the taste has not been same anymore and have dropped significantly. Otherwise, used to be our favourite easy place for takeaways... Wish they could improve or maintain the taste with rising prices."

"We were on a laksa hunt again and saw it on the menu here. Off we headed to Hornsby for a hot bowl of spicy goodness. Chef’s Noodle has been around for a long time. They mostly dish out good sized servings of noodle combinations but we also spied that they had laksa on the menu."

"As far as cheap eats, quick efficient service go, chef’s noodle is hard to beat. You dont come here looking for authentic eats. All the fresh ingredients are laid out on (chilled) counter n if you ask nicely, boss man will cater to your selection. Menu is not extensive but what they’ve got aint bad at all (at this price point). Rev on multiple visits. Sambal nasi goreng Seafood nasi goreng Ginger n spring onion fried noodles w tofu"
