"It's no surprise to hear that this place bullies its staff because the neighbours of this place have been putting up with the same through noise and building non-compliance since they opened months ago, and continue to operate above noise levels on a daily basis. There's no chance speaking with the owner because he's arrogant and selfish. To sell his business to the council, he told blatant lies through construction to operating. He was in breach of his permit for months and has lights that are pointed towards our bedrooms windows. He's proven time and time again that he couldn't care less for others including Yarra City Council. This guy's as narcissist as it comes. We and others have lost our peaceful homes and outdoor spaces to greed and selfishness which is a cancer on the surrounding community. Don't support someone who bullies his staff and surrounding residents. From me to you, mate - If you were a decent person, I’d pop over for a meal (if only it weren’t so expensive). Trust me, you're only doing damage to yourself. You're a loser. Gimme a little thumbs up, go on."

"Pizzeria Da Bruno is an upscale Italian restaurant spread over 4 levels. There's a basement and rooftop level along with a mezzanine level overlooking the main ground floor too. The fitout is simple but stylish and good for a catch up with friends or an intimate date night too. Staff here are friendly and accommodating, I asked for a kids serve of their Bolognaise as they don't have a kids menu and they were happy to help and even offer a pasta change too. The pizzas here are the highlight! Light and thin bases but bursting with flavour. Good drinks, with a range of beers, wine and cocktails list as well. This is not a cheap restaurant but it has a great vibe and good quality. Worth a visit"

"Absolutely beautiful venue with clean modern lines and comfortable seating. Each level was cohesive but had its own charm and features. The pizza was good with Neapolitan style crust, highly recommend the fresh mozzarella and Gambino pizzas! The mushroom gnocchi was also incredible with soft pillowy pieces and wok hei flavour. Had quite a good experience considering how big our group booking was; though the room was too small and ended up being overly warm and loud. Thanks to the team that handled it and moved us though."

"Overpriced average food. Sat downstairs and it was so loud we couldn’t hear what the person right next to us was saying. Building looks pretty but someone didn’t think of concrete walls echoing. Place has 10% weekend and 15% public holiday surcharges. $30 average pizza, small serving sizes for shares and pasta. Seafood seems to be using defrosted ingredients. Espresso martini $25 was probably the worst tasting medicine juice. Weird glass serving format. Probably won’t come back here. Better Italian elsewhere! Figlia on Lygon St is significantly better - similar price better overall experience and quality."
