Our single, compact double, and premium double rooms are all thoughtfully designed to offer a relaxed stay, and they have access to a well-appointed bathroom facility. Each room is equipped with a small refrigerator, wardrobe, tea and coffee facilities, and a wash basin for your convenience.

"Amazing location, easily accessible by light rail from Central and a short walk to the nearest cafe. I booked a room with private ensuite bathroom - I loved the beds, they were so comfortable, I had the best nights sleep in them. The place was very clean, sheets were white and spotless, and the decor was very inviting. I booked this place last minute yet The Alison gave me a wonderful experience with staying in Sydney despite my late booking. I was also provided a parking spot that was secure and easy to access. I would definitely return back to The Alison for my next trip! Only negative was the walls were definitely very thin and we could hear people in the hallway and upstairs thumping. I brought my ear plugs so it wasn't an issue, but my partner was frequently woken up by noisy patrons/children in other rooms. Overall, I would highly recommend The Alison to anyone, however book a room with private ensuite if possible and bring some ear plugs just to make your experience a bit more comfortable. Thank you staff for providing me a perfect place to stay in the bustling heart of Sydney."
"The hotel itself was lovely but the walls are very thin. On our checkout morning the hotel receptionist walked into our room without knocking and I had just come out of the shower and there were 3 females sharing .No apologies were given at all when we left."

"I've driven past this place for 30+ years and took the chance to stay there. Immaculately clean, well appointed, easy check in, nice building and gardens. I guess it's reflected in the reasonable price of ~$130/night, but the rooms are tiny and share a bathroom between 3-4 rooms. All good, but 4 not 5 stars for this alone"
