"The rooms were great, spacious and with a full kitchen and laundry. Location wise the hotel is close to the airport. The service in the garden bar area needs a bit of work. Overall a great place to stay if proximity to the airport is important"
"Talking with a smile isn't kind. Hotels are a service business. If you can't even confirm the reservation, I don't know why they accept reservations. Even though I gave a confirmation number, manager did not even check properly. They even responded to other customers in the middle without understanding. I was tired and uncomfortable because it took so long to check in, but in the end, I was annoyed by asking for all guest IDs, and they told me it was hotel policy. I asked to see the rule and policy for that, but they just said I should have read the policy when making the reservation. I couldn't see any rule for that when I booked. I was denied accommodation, so I asked for a refund and I told them twice I paid with mileage, but it seems they didn't understand it well and confidently told me that they didn't charge anything. In the end, mileage points are not recovered. I'm still taking money from the hotel side."
"We were tossing up between ibis, Mantra on Sydney Airport and The Branksome Hotel & Residences, and I am so glad I booked The Branksome. We arrived early after a very long and late night, and were so grateful that an early check-in was able to be accommodated. We stayed in a Studio Suite, and it had everything you could possible need, including digital compendium, laundry, balcony, motorised night blinds and more. The room was spacious and comfortable. We would have loved to have stayed longer and experience the health centre and roof top bar, but our main reason for our stay was to get to the airport for an early flight in the morning. Room service was great, as was the food. We enjoyed a walk through Mascot and visited a couple near-by pubs and had a feed on the way back at Mascot Kebab. Concierge and staff were all lovely. A really lovely stay. The airport shuttle made it so easy to get to the airport in the morning on time with no stress. Would recommend and happy to stay again."
"After a cancelled flight at Sydney domestic late at night needed somewhere to stay the night. Had flight crew recommend this hotel & can I say wow! Clean, spacious 1 bed apartment with great amenities & early shuttle back to the airport. Only spent 5 hours but very pleased. Value was good, extremely clean & really wish I could have stayed longer & really enjoyed my room. Bed, pillows & linen all high quality. Highly recommended."
