"Horrible customer service and huge wait times. Never have I been so let down by a business I used to love. We ordered via the crust app at 5:30 and in the confirmation was told 30 mins. Knowing delivery times are only rough, I expected we would have the food in an hour. At 6:30 we still hadn't received anything so I called the restaurant and was answered almost immediately. I was informed that "my order is coming out of the oven in a few minutes, then allow ten for delivery and you should have it then." We proceeded to wait a further 30 minutes and still hadn't received anything by 7pm. I then called and was unable to get through. I continued to call multiple times over the next 15 mins and not once did anyone pick up. At first it kept going to voicemail but in the last couple of tries I heard someone actively pick up the phone and disconnect the call. Our pizza turned up a few minutes later, luke warm and without an apology. I have been a loyal customer to various Crust franchises over many years and not once have I had such an appalling experience as I had tonight. The fact that they blatantly lied to me when they first took my call after the first hour (there's no way it was just coming out of the oven then. I know my order was missed) and the fact that they deliberately hung up on my phone calls is just rude. All it takes is a message or call to the customer to let them know the order is late, apologise and at least deliver it to them hot. The food is not worth the hassle from ordering from here and dealing with such terrible service."
