"going through the motions........could be a much better experience. Shower from the 70's, tricky stiff tap, and never warmed up enough. Very loud front door rim lock - both of us woken up at 2.30 a.m. by people returning. No apology offered. Basic breakfast old croissants and cellophane wrapped pastries. Over priced and just going through the motions."
"Thoroughly enjoyed a 2 night stay here. From the moment we stepped off the train, Louise was good enough to pick us up from station as it was raining. Fresh scones and coffee on arrival which was appreciated after long trip. Excellent local knowledge of eateries and activities etc. And even though we booked room only we were treated to a fabulous continental breakfast. Our room was spotless and so quiet. Thank you for your hospitality Louise and we will most definitely be back"
"Really nice B&B to drop in to. Part of our drive around Ireland. Nice and clean rooms with good number of towels and clean bathroom. Louise and co are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. A superb breakfast as well."
"Just on the outskirts of Westport this is a great place. We arrived on Wednesday and were greeted by a smiling member of staff. The welcome was warm and positive, even though we were early. Room was very clean and comfortable, toilet and shower also spotless. Breakfast was very good, and filling, bacon was delicious ,set us up for the day. We were also offered fruit to take with us on our trip to Ochill Island. Bridget gave us a plan for places to visit along the way, but we still got lost. This is a credit to Bridget and her staff. All coming together to create a happy hard working group. We will return to Westport and to Broadlands next year. Only thing I'd like to see would be a inside, outside seating area for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful garden. A big big thank you, and we will see you soon. John and Mandy."
