"DO NOT BOOK. I called to check something out a few days before my hen. He pretended he didn’t know who I was & then said my name by accident. Very dodgy. Wouldn’t give an explanation of the cancellation but I found out by the locals when I was there that weekend what he had done."
"There was nobody to meet us on arrival and when I phoned I was sent a code for entrance door. We had to sit on the stairs to wait for the owner to arrive as there was no place to sit as there was no reception area. There was also two other people waiting for a key for their room and they decided to wait in their car outside as there was no room inside the building. The owner did not arrive and we were sent another text to say we were staying in room 4 and the location of the key. This is not a very safe way to do business as there were many sets of keys on the key rack. If was dishonest I could easily make a copy of the keys of the other rooms. The room and bed was very small there is barely enough room to move in the bathroom. We went for breakfast at 9am the following morning and the owner was too busy on his computer to answer my simple question about the items on the breakfast menu. He finished his email before answering my question. The breakfast was average and the owner barely spoke to us and he was definitely not very welcoming. I would not stay here again and I’d recommend people to look elsewhere for accommodation in Westport."
"Great little secret place to stay. The owners were really friendly. The place was immaculate. Not a spec of dust. One of the most impressive B&B breakfasts I've ever had. Room had all the facilities of a hotel including hair dryer and compliment tray. Shower was lovely and powerful. Much nicer stay here than I've had in the local hotels, for a fraction of the cost. Wouldn't have minded paying a wee bit more. Would definitely stay here again."
"This Guest House is nice and well situated in Westport. The host seemed a little bit stressed during our vacation (rooms were fully booked) and there is nearly no space at the breakfast in the morning (maybe 2 tables less in the room would help). The rooms are also very small."
