"We had a fantastic stay at the Castlecourt. The attention to detail was amazing. We stayed here for my birthday, but didn’t tell the hotel. However when I arrived to the room there was a box of chocolates and a card. This was so thoughtful and really added to our stay. We ate in the Bistro for lunch & in the bar of the Plaza next door for dinner - also fantastic. I had a spa treatment in Spa Sula. This was very relaxing and all of the therapists were extremely helpful and answered any questions that I had. I would highly recommend it. Overall we had a brilliant stay here & we will most definitely be back."

Well, that's exactly where I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday - at the magnificent Castlecourt Hotel in Westport! As we stepped into the grand entrance, we were greeted by the enchanting ambiance of the castle's regal interiors, and we couldn't help but feel like royalty. The staff welcomed us warmly, and upon mentioning the birthday celebration, they made it their mission to make it extra special. The bar was simply amazing, boasting of its grandeur with its impressive size and opulent décor. I could hardly wait to order our favorite drinks and toast to my boyfriend's special day. As we settled into our table, the staff surprised my boyfriend with a scrumptious dessert that was adorned with a single candle, adding an extra sparkle to his eyes. The entire restaurant joined in to sing the birthday song, and I could see the delight on my boyfriend's face. The restaurant's ambiance was second to none, with a romantic and intimate setting that was just perfect for the occasion. I ordered oysters and onion rings, and the flavors were out of this world! I couldn't help but recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience. Overall, my boyfriend's birthday celebration at the Castlecourt Hotel was an experience that we both will cherish for a lifetime. "I was intoxicated for most of it but after been put to bed at 6:45pm during the wedding reception I noticed when I woke up at 7am the next morning I was very comfortable and the doggy bagged plate of mains from the wedding reception was still delicious eaten cold the next day. Never been the first in for breakfast after a wedding but the extra attention given to us for just this reason was well worth the stay. Top notch service from start to finish, including the waitress who had to repeatedly steer me away from the kitchen doors when I needed to pee (apologies also are in order as I never got her name), as she steered me with a smile on her face. Welcoming from start to finish. I'm told it was a good night's crack, maybe I'll remember the next one, who knows."
"Stayed last night in the Castlecourt. The hotel is beautiful and the Christmas decorations add to this. We had a lovely comfortable room. We went to the leisure centre too which has a big pool and it wasn't too busy. Breakfast was very nice and served fresh to us. All staff are very friendly. Nice to have parking on site and the hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the town with its lovely shops. The hotel rate was very reasonable. Look forward to staying again sometime. Would highly recommend."
"Lovely decor, very comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food.....well saying it was delicious is not doing it justice. Everything was cooked to perfection and served hot, and no delay between coursese. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to being back there sometime."
