"Had the pleasure of attending a wedding at the County Arms Hotel recently. The service, surroundings, food and staff were outstanding. A special shout out to the delightful wedding co-ordinator who did everything possible for the wedding party. She deserves a bonus. Look forward to visiting again. Thank you."

"Had food there recently on a Saturday. Eventually when order taken had a 45 minute wait. A lot of staff on but very young and not well organised, kept walking past us. Food wasn't great, seemed reheated. My husband ordered fish and batter was doughy, he did say it but they didn't even know how to respond. Felt the staff were all in secondary school and not trained up well. Not their fault, didn't see any senior staff on except behind bar. Nearly slipped on spilled food on way out to toilet. No-one cleaned it up, even after I told staff, 2 more people nearly slipped in it. Skimping on paying proper staff, as all seemed to be students just wandering around clueless. Pity as hotel has pleasant decor but poor service and food was very poor."

"We attended a wedding at the county arms hotel this Christmas, the hotel itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The wedding venue itself was superb, from the food to the staff, everything was impeccable and I couldnt find fault with anything. The room we stayed in was lovely and spacious, and the hotel itself has a lot of parking which is great."

"We had our daughters wedding here and we couldn't have had a better day and night for it anywhere else. The staff were quiet simply incredible. From the managers and planners to the waiting and bar staff, they all were very friendly and so helpful which made the day even more perfect. Not forgetting the kitchen staff and chefs who produced a fantastic array of food which had all out guests raving about how impressed they were with the meals. Being Christmas the outside of the hotel is beautifully lit from the tree lined avenue to the gorgeous tent light path way to the subtle decorations inside it was all done very tastefully indeed. I would have no hesitation in recommending the the County Arms Hotel for any event or stay or just somewhere beautiful to have a meal. Thanks again for making my daughters day so perfect and a day to remember."

"I have stayed in The County Arms Hotel on several occasions and cannot recommend it highly enough. Staff in reception and throughout the hotel are extremely professional and helpful at all times. Bedrooms are impeccably clean, warm and very comfortable. Breakfast menu is exceptional with something to suit all requirements. The various seating areas throughout provide privacy and comfortable places to relax and the background music, at a perfect level, adds to the ambiance. Parking area is very convenient close to the hotel. From our bedroom we could see the swimming pool which looks very inviting...we hope to avail of same on our next visit which will hopefully be in the very near future."
