"We stayed a couple weeks ago. It was a very outdated apartment. Freezing cold with a hand written note not to touch the boiler for the heating. Night 1 was so cold had to wear my clothes in bed. We turned on the heating day 2 and someone came in when we were not there and turned it off. The double room had so much condensation even the floor was wet. The twin room had dirty sheets on the divan mattress that was black in spots at the bottom. There were 5 of us to the apartment, and they had no lock on the toilet door. So privacy was slim. Overall €500 for 2 nights for 5 people was way overpriced. Could have been warmer in the car."
"We enjoyed our stay at Corrib View Guesthouse. The bedroom and bathroom were very small, but it was not an issue for us. Their breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. The owners were very friendly and helpful with *things to do* in Galway. Note that this guesthouse is very far from town centre, but a public bus can be found not far from the guesthouse. Make sure you add on Google maps *Woodhaven*, because we ended up in a private house in Merlin Park and struggled to find the guesthouse. The private House owner said many people lock on their door.. So Woodhaven is an area where you got many different guesthouses next to each other"
"I had a really pleasant stay at Corrib View. The owner was a lovely couple - nice, friendly and helpful. The room had all facilities, very comfortable beds and clean toilets. The breakfast was really good and varied. The location was perfect as well, with a bus station right outside to get into the Galway city centre. I would love to visit again!"
