"After spending nearly a thousand euro on accommodation and another 500 on food and drinks I can definitely say it was a waste of money. Twice we were over charged on check-in until the correct amount was found. The rooms are not cleaned every day, beds are not made, the blankets are just tossed about and the floors not vaccummed. The hotel is over taken by any event held. Waiting over 20 minutes for service at the bar every time. Ran out of ice, warm drinks served and no wine kept in the fridge. Took 2.5 hours for dinner from start to finish, starters were finished before drinks arrived. Food is not great, the soup was the best thing on the menu. Issues with one of the bar servers ignoring people at the bar and then handing out abrupt responses. The rest of the staff are great but they are not backed. One bar man on his own to serve the entire hotel at night causing us and plenty others to leave. Location is spot on but its definitely not a place to stay if you are visiting Salt Hill. I have already sent all these details to the hotel a couple of weeks ago but I never got a response."
"Myself and my girlfriend had a lovely night stay in the hotel! Food was fabulous and service was exceptional! We arrived early to the hotel and the staff took our luggage and before we knew it, our room was ready for check in! Thank you to grace in reception for being so helpful and accommodating with our many requests and for giving us great directions on how to get around Galway city! Would highly recommend"

The hotel exceeded my expectations with their amazing staff, each member went over and beyond to make sure we all enjoyed our night. The food and service was exceptional throughout the whole night. It was an overall pleasure to attend and is beautiful and ideal venue for hosting celebrations, I would highly recommend to all."

"Have stayed at this hotel twice since 2020 and must say I love it! Once we stayed for a wedding, the following year we stayed with friends. Love the location, the staff is great and the food is lovely. Wedding reception was also incredible and the hotel could not do enough for everyone attending they were great. Only downside would be the dated rooms for some people but if you know what to expect then that shouldn’t be an issue for anyone. The sea views make up for it any ways!"
