"Where to start. Was a surprise from my husband & wow, was it a great one. Alana at front desk is amazing & all the staff were super friendly & helpful from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We had dinner & breakfast included & both the service & food was amazing. My husbands beer was ‘off’ was fixed & replaced immediately. The room was amazing. Bed so comfy. Biggest bathtub I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Loved the decor of entire Hotel. This is definitely a place we will now call home when in Galway. Love the 12 pm checkout & €5- for Valet parking is so very worth it. Thank you all! Can’t wait to see you again."
"This is a well known hotel in the centre of town. Rooms are super. Staff really genuinely nice and helpful. Food great (well breakfast is, as it was all I availed of). So If you don't mind parking your car a 5 minute walk away from the Hotel its the place that gives access to everywhere.... I really loved it."
"Attended a wedding at this hotel and it was a pleasure from start to finish. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and delighted to tend to your every need. The room was lovely, quiet, spotless, warm and the bed was extremely comfortable . We also had a great view of the Christmas market. Romantic or what. To top off our stay was a scrumptious breakfast. Highly recommend the scrambled eggs. Also because this hotel is so central, I even had a chance to fit in some last minute shopping When checking out our car, which they had parked for us on arrival (for a small fee) was delivered to the door. What more could you ask for. The whole stay was one to remember. Will definitely stay again."
"The location of this hotel must be the best in Galway perhaps. Right on Eyre Square. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is clean and well maintained. I was lucky enough to stay in a lovely deluxe room overlooking Eyre Square. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small but functional and bright and clean. The hotel has a nice bar accessible from inside the hotel. I'd recommend this hotel."
"This hotel is historic and had a very welcoming front staff and was well-located. I have a feeling some of their hotel rooms were renovated and some are clearly not. The photos of the rooms on the website are nothing like what received. Our room was tiny, no AC, but quaint. Do yourself a favor... book the bigger room. The un-renovated 'classic double' could barely fit 2 people to even walk around it. At the VERY least, get the deluxe double. It's well worth the extra space and I will definitely book this one if I stay here again. The staff were prompt, and even brought up an ice AC unit to accommodate us, which was handy. The included breakfast in the lobby is excellent, and the room we had was quiet."
