Reviews
"Lovely view, friendly staff but food was barely mediocre. Scanned the menu and went for the open chicken sandwich for €11. Plain slices of chicken breast, one leaf of butterhead lettuce, a scant smear of mayonnaise on two (absolutely delicious) slices of brown bread. If your friend made you this sandwich you'd be grateful... but this is a business dedicated to food from whom we should expect more. It was a like trip to the 1980's where raw pepper was considered a garnish. Lazy management content with tourists (with no choice) to fork out for average food at extortionate prices. The brown bread was delicious though."
"nice place to go to and have a cup of tea and a scone. we have been here few times and they staff is very friendly and all food tastes very well. we come back again."
"An inclement day was made better with a hot cup of tea and a warm scone with jam. No inside sitting yet, but hope that comes soon. The scone was amazing"
"When I visit Gougana Barra I like to grab a cuppa and a scone at Cronin's. During my last two visits I was fortunate to be able get a table that faced the lake. I was able to enjoy my tea and scone while looking at the beautiful scenery. The food and service was good."
