"I used it for the computing. I had no WiFi (or phone signal) but apparently they're getting a new contract soon. I was also allowed 3 sessions. What was neat as the library had a cafe that had quite a buzz. Nice for coffee and a jacket but also a special between 11am and 2pm. The staff were friendly although professional and the DVD selection was quite good. (I don't read..)"
"I went to cafe, pretty good food, friendly service and if you're looking forward to the rest of your day there's a library next to it so you can pick up a good read."
"21/09/2022 My wife, my mother outlaw, a friend and I went to have our winter covid jab. There was a reasonable wait while we waited our turn. To pass the time I chatted with my fellow patients, I was just telling a joke when I was called in so they didn't hear the punchline. Poor people!"
"pros proximity if you are in East Hull Helpful staffs Free internet and wifi with library card Free parking space cafe on the same floor with the books I think its less noisy as a bit positioned away from busy road compared to the Hull central library Beautiful architecture cons limited books limited space limited bus options if you do not have your own means of transport Extra noisy if you visit during lunch owing to the busy cafe"
"Went to the Mick Ronson tribute, Turn and Face the Strange at the Freedom Centre, an appropriate setting for this Hull legend who grew up on the Greatfield estate. A great night and a great venue."
