"Came to this beautiful venue for a work retirement party. Unfortunately never took any photos. The building itself is beautiful, our food was amazing and very well presented. The staff were really lovely and very efficient. A fantastic evening out."

"We stayed for five nights at this hotel and ate dinner a couple of times. Overall, it is is very good for the price charged. Positives: Interesting old building. Great location for exploring Ryde and IoW. Comfortable, spacious, quiet and well-equipped bedroom. Decent pub food and excellent breakfast, both in very spacious restaurants. All staff extremely helpful and friendly. Very nice atmosphere. Negatives: Windows in bedroom & bathroom very drafty, making it very cold, and bedroom window let in a lot of water when it was raining - I get that this is an old building and windows probably can't be changed, but some sealant would be possible, surely. Bathroom floor tiles cracked. Although breakfast excellent, as mentioned above, there was no margarine (only butter) and when requested was told 'but we do have marmalade if you want', as if something with the same first three letters might be a substitute!! Also, despite being on menu, no porridge available."
"Stayed here for one night, it's a lovely place, friendly staff and helpful. The room was big, and well furnished, lovely bathroom with a bath. The room was lovely and warm, free WiFi. Breakfast was included had a good Full English, plenty of fruit juices, cereals and toast. If I had to stay in Ryde again, this would be the first place I would try and book"
