"Lovely food just a very small portion. £19 for stuffed roast pork, 6 green beans, 2roast potatoes and the smallest parsnips. We asked for more veg to be told we would need to pay for it.. pointed out that we’ll just have what was clearly forgotten to be put on the plate. More veg and potatoes arrived and we weren’t charged so we enjoyed our meal."

"Beautiful countryside pub/inn in Cheshire. Comfortable rooms, really good prices. Access to tons of hiking nearby and straight from the Inn. Dog friendly too! Breakfast is included and it’s spectacular. I had an omelette, hash browns, toast, coffee and juice. So so good. Dinner is great too. I ate here two nights in a row. They have vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. I had the halloumi burger and it was excellent. Best of all is the service. You’d think you were at some crazy expensive, swanky resort.
