"Such an adorable pub with indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs are welcome. We had the steak and kidney pie which was very hearty. The brie, bacon and cranberry on baguette was also very good. Update - Sunday Roast is great and pub quiz night is a lot of fun."
"This is a one of our favourite places in the Peak District, its very welcoming and the real ales are always on top form. The choice of food on the menu is great, and we always find something yummy to eat. Parking can be a bit tight but it's OK if you're careful. I recommend this place but please book if you want a table and a great night out"
"I recently went for lunch with three friends. We had a lovely time. The pub is very welcoming and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is great and they had no problem with catering for gluten free. I would not hesitate to recommend."
"Came here for dinner one night as were staying in a cottage down the road. Husband rang up and they reserved us a table. Arrived and Justin explained everything and we ordered our drinks. We then ordered the food. It came out piping hit and tasted delicious!! I has the lasagne and my husband had a burger which was on the specials board. We were both so full we couldn't manage a pudding, gutted as they all sounded amazing. All the team were really friendly and helpful. Thank you for making us feel welcome."
"Super little hidden gem of a pub. Justin the landlord is very welcoming and there is an exceptional menu of good home cooked food. Best steak and kidney pie I have had in ages. It’s not big so it is wise to book ahead."
