Forest Side Guesthouse

"I really could not find the right words to explain this beautiful guest house, it has been decorated to a high standard, it has a slightly modern feel, but also retains some of its older characters. Several things truly stuck out when I entered our room, the cuddly horse placed on the bed, the mini fridge, should we need it and the size of the towels, wow, normally the largest towel you get given, is enough to wrap around your hair and you then have to drip dry, but not here, the bath sheet was exactly that, a nice big, soft towel, what a nice home comfort that was. The owner/manager was so kind, helpful, respectful and considerate. She gave us information on the local area, and places to visit/eat. Covid guidelines followed, hand sanitiser in main areas. Ample parking at the rear of the guest house. I honestly can not wait to go again."

"Excellent guesthouse, spacious comfortable rooms and just 5 minute walk from Lyndhurst with a variety of restaurants, pubs etc. Rosetta, the landlady, was wonderful and very helpful and informative. I would highly recommend this guesthouse and furthermore Lyndhurst is an excellent location in the Forest as it is right in the middle."

"This is a lovely guesthouse. Rooms were immaculate. Large spacious rooms with large bathroom. So plenty of light which I find lacking in so many hotels and guesthouses. Host was very helpful before and during my stay and very friendly. Would definitely stay again"

The room was very spacious and decorated with love, the cleanliness was top level and the location good enough, just a short walk needed to reach Lyndhurst centre. Rosetta is a wonderful person, full of positivity and enthusiasm. All in all a lovely experience, we hope we'll be back!"

"Awesome from the start! Rosetta and David were wonderful - hugely accommodating, very friendly and incredibly helpful. Their B&B is the best one I have stayed in - Large, lovely, spacious, very clean and well decorated rooms. I have never had a fridge in my B&B so it was a pleasant extra. They have really paid attention to detail - First B&B where the hangers are plenty and all new! The toiletries were also very good quality so you can genuinely see and feel the effort and thought that has gone into the House. Rosetta and David made the House very safe with all the new CoVid rules and regulations, again taking great care. Their breakfast was first class and again the best one I've had in a B&B - Dad loved his scrambled eggs, uncle his fried eggs and I was in awe of a real mixed fruit salad (not just apples and bananas)! Rosetta and David were so thoughtful and considerate whilst serving breakfast. Overall, all five of us loved every minute in the Forest Side Guesthouse and it is where I would stay again when I return to the New Forest and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend it.
