Reviews
"It wasn't a particularly enjoyable breakfast, to be honest. The tomatoes and mushrooms were cooked without seasoning or herbs, which resulted in a rather bland flavour, while the sausages, black pudding, and bacon were all grossly overcooked. This is my second visit, and regrettably, both times I left with the same outcome. Overall not a very pleasant experience, especially given the cost. It cost more than £50 for three breakfasts and three teas. Black pudding will increase the price of a full breakfast to £15.50. The cost is comparable to those of high-end restaurants, but Yates-level quality is provided. I have no quarrels spending more money for quality over quantity, but alas the quality isn't there. It's important to note that the staff was courteous and helpful, and the restaurant as a whole had a pleasant atmosphere."
"A lovely small restaurant with a relaxed vibe. Plant decorations throughout and very attentive staff. They had several great vegan options on their Sunday Road menu."
"Delicious food, lovely ambience. A real treat for the village. French onion soup was lovely, served in a crusty roll. Pork ciabatta was delicious. Bought some cakes to take away too."
