"I brought my 2 year old cockapoo to eimear for the first time today and I was absolutely shocked at her manner towards myself and my dog. Her lack of customer service skills is appalling and the way she treated my dog was upsetting. As a young girl the way I was talked down to was not acceptable. Poppy is a very shy dog but in no way is aggressive she has been groomed by two other groomers and we had no issues. Upon arrival eimear did not greet my dog or try to calm her down with a treat or give her a rub no sympathy or emotion was showed towards her. I explained she’s very nervous around people she doesn’t know and takes awhile to warm up. Eimear then took poppy by her collar and pulled her inside. She asked what she is like being groomed and I explained that like most dogs she doesn’t like her paws being brushed she might pull away but she is again not an aggressive dog. When I then collected poppy we were over charged what was on her website. She then told me she would not be taking poppy again as she has “behaviour issues” and she had to muzzle her. Poppy has been to 2 groomers prior and has never had to be muzzled before, I can only imagine how frightened she felt during this. You trust your groomer to take good care of your dog when you are leaving them in their care. Poppy was shaking and extremely frightened after her experience. When she got home she ran straight to the garden to go to the toilet, she was clearly not well looked after. I hope this doesn’t cause her stress at her next groomers. I would recommend to steer clear of canine cuts and do not recommend them at all. A groomer is supposed to be trained to deal with different dogs and not point the finger if they seem frightened. Poppy is a placid family pet who takes awhile to warm up to strangers she doesn’t know, we are very upset with the service we received. Replying to your response: It is completely untrue that I said she doesn’t like her legs being touched. I said she doesn’t like them being brushed it’s nothing to worry about she might pull her paw away. I was the one who said I would show you a photo you did not ask. Also you did not walk her in with the lead you pulled her in by the collar and didn’t say a word to her or show her any sympathy or affection like I said before so that is also untrue. My dog doesn’t need behavioural therapy she has been trained in classes since she was a puppy to interact with people and dogs she is a very friendly loving family pet. She has been groomed 3 times before you altogether so she isn’t confused. From the moment I dropped her off I had a bad feeling because of the way I was spoken too and knew we wouldn’t be bringing her back despite what you said. I posted my review to warn people if they also have an anxious dog I don’t appreciate your rude response. Your response is an example of your lack of customer service skills and professionalism as a business owner."

"I was looking for groomer for a summer to do the job every week. The reason is that my job is seasonal and I cannot look after my dog properly. Canine Cuts also is close enough from our house so my kids can walk the dog, instead of my wife taking time off from work. The dog needs quite a job to bring her back to proper condition as I couldn't get her groomed for past 4 weeks due my absence for work. Unfortunately, when I've come, on time, for appointment, I've been refused as not profitable enough. Even when I've agreed to pay hourly rate of asking price. I'M REALLY DISAPPOINTED as Canine Cuts created an impression of dog lover but obviously there is something more important for her. I've tried to get some plan that will work for both of us but she was not interested. Answer to your comment: It is purely not true as I offered that I will do all the hard job in following week (I have 5 days break) and then let you carry on from there and you still said that you are not interested."
