Reviews
"3 room b&b in the howth Peninsula, closeish (3km) to the Major bay Area. Run by an incredibly friendly bloke Who had great advice on the surroundings. Unfortunately the room was lackluster, about Half a Dozen spiders and cobwebs above the bed, a ridiculously heavy blanket possibly previously used by the spanish inquisition as torture device, kept alternating between much too hot and too Cold, the door to the WC screeching and hard to open and close, the toilet Flush very loud and longwinded. Very good Breakfast and very friendly, feel kind of bad about this review because he was so nice but at the same time really exhausted with this type of 20 years out of date room an having to clean off spiders."
"Can't recommend this B and B enough!! Our first day my wife injured her leg in the City Center (watch your step on the cobbles and curbs). Andy went above and beyond to help me take care of my wife. Breakfast was fantastic and the Yorkies, Maggie and May made her smile with their antics. Beautiful back garden, quiet and homey. 20 minute walk to the train and 30 minutes by train to city center."
"We loved our stay at Cornerville in charming Howth! Our room was spacious and comfortable and the host could not have been more gracious. FABULOUS breakfast!! We’d definitely stay here again!"
"Great attention to detail and in a fantastic location. We stopped off here for one night before getting the ferry back to Wales the next day. Andy and his wife were very accommodating."
"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time! Andy was a kind and welcoming host who made a great croissant. The room itself was spacious with a peakaboo view of the ocean. They do keep the heat a bit low but there was plenty of covers to stay warm. He also has 2 Yorkies for any dog lovers out there! I'd stay here again if I was ever back in the area If you are going into Dublin, listen to Andy's advice and take the train. There is free parking at the Howth station and it took about 30 minutes to get to downtown Dublin. The first day we took a taxi and had to wait 15 - 20 minutes just to get picked up and took the train the following day and it was much easier."
