Reviews of Clayton Hotel Leopardstown
"We had a beautiful meal in the hotel Restaurant the evening we arrived. The bar atmosphere is is warm and friendly. After a great night's sleep. The next morning The breakfast staff were excellent and the buffet lay out and choices were top class. 10/10. The fresh porridge that you can order from a staff member is excellent. Well done Conor and breakfast staff."
"I am going to leave this review to say thank you to amazing people who helped me during my stay at Clayton. In particular the head chef ( Eddie), Angelo, Fernando and the operational manage ( I sadly forgot to ask his name). I was injured outside the hotel, whilst wondering what I need to do, I ran to the hotel reception to ask for help. Fernando took me to the amazing and compassionate head chef who helped me to calm down and kindly took time out of his busy schedule to care for the injury. They even called me in the evening to check how I am doing. Their compassion, care and kindness significantly impacted my experience not only at this hotel but in Dublin. I am very grateful for the care and kindness. I will miss our breakfast check-ins. Overall, the service, the food, and the room was perfect. Thanks everyone."
"Check in was easy online and hassle free. The parking was reasonable and was great to have secure parking. Every staff member was polite and professional. A little understaffed in bar area in terms of floor staff to take food orders. Had to get up and ask a member of staff to take our order. Also when you drop food to a table always ask if you can get the customer anything else don't just walk away. This was our only complaint about our stay so over all an excellent experience. Food was delicious and at a good price point. The room was beautifully decorated and maintained to an exceptional standard. Best nights sleep i have had in a long time. The bed was so comfortable and the bed linen was of great quality. I would go as far as to say the most comfortable hotel bed i have experienced. The price and valve for money was amazing. I can't wait to return in the future and would stay at any clayton hotel again if this is the standard. Thank you."
"A great place to stay as it is not too expensive for its location. Its a 5 minute walk from the train station which will take you to Dublin City centre and surroundings. There is underground parking and plenty of spaces. The hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are very pleasant and spacious and comfortable. There was no air conditioning but a fan was delivered to our room as it was a warm night."
"The rooms are spacious and clean, although my bedroom's toilet had a strong smell of cigars. I think that someone smoked at the toilet before my stay, so the smell was quite strong. The breakfast and the food served in the restaurants are pretty good (although lunch and dinner are mainly pizzas and hamburgers, with a few options of salad and salmon). Prices of lunch and dinner are around β¬ 15 - 20. Some of the staff was quite rude... While others were very nice and friendly and did their best to help, hence I would not take the rude receptionist to weight in their service. The hotel is in a business park, far from Dublin. It is a good option if you are there for business but, I am not sure it's a good option if you are on holidays and plan to go to Dublin, as transport from the hotel to Dublin will take you around 1h - 1:15h."
