"My husband and I celebrated our wedding at the beautiful place that is Martinstown House last month, and we can’t praise the team there highly enough. We are so thrilled with how everything went, and so grateful to Edward, Jennifer, and everyone in the kitchen, at the bar, in the house, around the grounds, and all the waiting staff for the care and effort they put into making our wedding day so unforgettably special. We were fortunate enough to have two nights in Martinstown House, a quiet ‘night before’ for prep to settle into our home for the weekend (and they really did make us feel like it was our home for those few days), and a magical fun-filled wedding day with almost 200 guests the following day. Everything was so well organised, and the attention to detail that Edward, Jennifer and the wider team paid at each stage of the weekend was so impressive. Our families, friends, everyone there, were made to feel so welcome, we were all so well looked after, and the food (I mean every meal from the Friday night comfort food to the breakfast on the Sunday morning and every snack, lunch, side etc. in between), quality and quantity, was excellent. We really wanted to have an outdoor wedding, and the stunning ceremony space that is unique to Martinstown House, allowed us to do that (on a rainy October day), without having to worry about our guests getting drenched! The venue had load of decorations that we were welcome to use on the day, but honestly, there was very little need to because the grounds, the ceremony space, and the cosy and colourful marquee are gorgeous as they are. All the staff, and particularly, Edward and Jennifer, are so good at what they do, and everyone we met was a pleasure to deal with. We have had so many guests get in touch with us since the day to say how impressed they were with the venue, the warm welcome, and all the delicious food. As well as that, Edward and Jennifer were so on top of everything in the lead up to our wedding day and they were so helpful and supportive in facilitating us to have the wedding we wanted to have. I can’t thank them enough!"
"Wow! What a special place. We had originally intended on getting married in Italy but we cancelled everything due to COVID. I’m so glad we did because I honestly can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Martinstown is such a special venue. Just so relaxed, natural and beautiful. The food is amazing - everyone has been commenting on it since the wedding but we knew from the tasting we were in for a treat anyway. Edward and Jennifer are so easy to deal with. They’re so flexible and accommodating but also so honest. They won’t let you waste money on something that’s a waste of time which is rare in the wedding industry! The outdoor ceremony space is why we picked Martinstown originally but the outdoor bar for the drinks reception, dinner and dancing in the marquee and retiring to the fire in the main house - you just wouldn’t ask for more. Even the breakfast the next day was unbelievable and the beds were so comfortable. Not things we thought of beforehand but we were so glad of at the time. It’s a beautiful, special place to hold a wedding you’ll never forget."
"We had the most wonderful wedding at Martinstown House. The house and grounds are stunning, the perfect backdrop for our big day. We especially loved how you have the entire place to yourselves, our guest had the freedom to roam and enjoy the country house completely. I cannot begin to praise Edward and Jennifer highly enough, they were professional, helpful and enthusiastic from start to finish. The food was amazing and plentiful. We will dream about the mushroom soup for many years to come and the late night food was perfect! Our guest didn't want to leave the next day and are still talking about how magical the venue was! Thank you for creating such a special wedding venue and for all your hard work to make our wedding day perfect!"
"The setting speaks for itself but the staff were exceptional. Bossman behind the bar was on top form and kept up with us very well (best of luck with yer kiddo). Service all night and in the morning was faultless. Also there's a cat and she's cool AF."
"Attended a wedding here it was really nice, the grounds are lovely and really well kept. The ceremony area was perfect for the day as it was the hottest day of the year. It was covered which gave well needed shade and it was spacious. The food was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and service was good. Really nice venue."
