"Brilliantly -, kept secret! Practically perfect in every way comfort, convenience, size all excellent"
"Kids party -Facilities 10/10 -Film image quality 3/10 We watched Garfield, from the list provided by UCD. It was blurry. -Birthday party experience: for the kids, great. -PLEASE NOTE: - UCD don't provide food. You need to bring your own snacks/drinks for the cinema and then for the party itself (cake, etc). - You can't light candles... - UCD provides a table to the side of the main door. It's great but you will need to ask for chairs if you need them. The staff reluctantly got some folding chairs after I insisted. - I had to sweep the place myself. It was absolutely manky (the corner with the table). When I asked, I was told the place was going to be set up while the kids watched the movie, but we had booked the whole thing from before it started. The least I expected was for it to be clean and ready for us to set up our stuff. The tables hadn't been wiped either. - They charge 200 euro for a minimum of 20 kids. - For pizza delivered early, Firehouse pizza in Booterstown was great. Overall experience from the kids' perspective, great. The customer service wasn't up to standard, I'm afraid. Little things could be tweaked that would make a big difference."
"Nice cinema! The screen very good & comfortable seats at excellent price."
"The UCD Cinema is such a fantastic place, with even kinder staff! The new renovations are gorgeous. Would highly recommend people check out this cinema— affordable prices, suitable for students, staff, families, and anyone living locally! I’d give six stars if I could."
"It is small 88-seater but comfortable cinema, located at the UCD student centre. Ticket prices are very cheap compared to city cinema. Lovely to watch documentary film series there every year. The cinema is multi-faced space to screen 3D, HD , Blue Ray, DVD and laptop formats. Cinema provides space for film screenings, presentations, panel discussions, workshops and lectures."
