"Beware, when dealing with this Agency. Dishonest and unprofessional Three times I have dealt with this office regarding the same unit. It was confirmed by the agent three separate times that the unit was suitable for the services I would like to open. I offered the asking price and agreed to all the terms and conditions right after each of my three viewings of the unit. I also sent the agent my business plan as this unit will be my second shop. Since making the offer, I tried following up with the office and received no reply. They kept telling me that the agent handling this unit ( Robert Forbes) will call me back. After three weeks of calls and emails,I was informed the unit was now under offer. I asked once again to speak to Robert Forbes but he still wouldn’t talk to me. Then he got a member of his staff to email me that evening stating unfortunately the landlord has chosen to progress with another applicant and that I was the next preference. This has to be a joke. The whole situation just seems dishonest and unprofessional. I had previously dealt with them regarding another unit where I was advised the landlord was happy with my offer, then everything started to slow down couldn’t get through to the agent or receive a call back which seems to be a recurring issue looking at other reviews. I was then advised that another party had offered in excess of the asking price and rent which is fair, but we had been told five weeks previously that the landlord was happy with the offer. After this I should have realised that this is an agency that doesn’t conduct themselves properly but the new unit suited my business. Therefore I was willing to put my previous reservations aside. Honestly think something illegal has gone on with this unit as for three years it has been left idle while I have offered exactly what the landlord wanted."
