Reviews of Errigal Guest House
"Ideal place to stay if visiting Croke park, comfortable bed, tea coffee facilities in room with addition of fridge, TV, central heating and facility to get continental breakfast in the morning, parking available."
"Excellent location if you’re flying in as the Guest house is served by numbers 16 and 41 from the airport which stop right outside the property. On the bus just watch out for the Lidl on the right and ring the bell when you pass. Bus fare was 2.60 and a taxi is around 23 Euros. The journey took 35-40 minutes and depends on the traffic. There is limited space on the bus for luggage, which could be a problem in rush hour. The 41 runs 24 hours every day(at .09 and .39 past the hour to the airport from the guest house). We tried to catch the 5.39 am to the airport only to find it was full and didn’t even stop. Thankfully it is a busy road and we flagged a taxi within a minute. I walked down to O’Connel street and back, or you can catch the 13 and 16 From outside the Guest house. Michaela the manageress lives at the property and is extremely accommodating, friendly, hard working and helpful. There was an Australian style backpackers breakfast available with toast, cereals, tea and instant coffee. Using the microwave to heat food was also possible. Handy with a Tesco Express and Lidl close by. The road is very busy and with a bus stop outside, so sleeping in the front could be a problem for a light sleeper, even with the double glazing. If you get a room at the back you will find it quieter, but it will probably be smaller, so be prepared for that trade off. We found the room cold with the temperature always 17-18c, although it was only 3-5c outside. The internet speed was a bit slow at times."
"Warm welcome, excellent value and well located. Our room was cosy, spacious and super clean with a very confortable bed. If we come back in Dublin, we'll definitely rebook there :)"
"Basic rooms but clean. Inexpensive by Dublin standards. Good location for city or airport. Not a place for more than a couple of nights"
"Very clean and organized. It was a quick stop over but the host was lovely and it was very convenient with the bus stop right outside. Realized we didn’t have an adapter for our electronics, but she already had one in our room! Would definitely recommend. Might want to get higher floor because the people above us were loud walking around. Other than that it was just what we needed."
