"It is a very cosy guest house. The staff was very nice and helpful and allowed us to move into the room 3 hours earlier. The hotel is located just outside the city centre, but is very easy to reach by bus. In addition, it is located in a very quiet residential area and both restaurants and shopping facilities are within walking distance. The room was relatively manageable, but sufficient for 2 people. The bathroom was very small and in an older condition. However, everything was very clean. At night it was noisy due to some guests, as the walls and doors are very thin. The hotel is recommended for those who want to stay in Dublin for a low price and are satisfied with a simple standard."

"We stayed here recently and they were accommodating: we were able to drop off our luggage early, even though we weren't able to check in early, it allowed us to be able to explore Dublin without lugging our entire lives around. Also were accommodating in trying to get us a quiet corner room, by the garden. The room was small but cozy, the shower was nice. Egans house is located in a quiet neighbourhood and we enjoyed our overall stay. Our only wish is that breakfast was included in the price."
