"I have no idea who this proprietor thinks she is talking to, but it is quite clear to me she views the customer with nothing more than contempt. If you are fine with being looked and spoken down to then go ahead, deal with this two bit rag shop. Those of you with a little more self respect will want to steer well clear. Appalling customer service…not to mention a range fit for a bygone era."

"I’d give this shop a zero if I could. I’d been in there browsing once before when I overheard an uncomfortable encounter between the seller and buyer with comments along the lines of “we don’t have the clientele for these items”. On this occasion, I hedged my bets as I had a designer coat to sell. Like one of the previous comments, I can corroborate that the employee of this shop is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. I was made to feel uncomfortable presenting my items, which is quite a vulnerable situation to be in. She said things along the lines of “would you buy a this one in that condition”. I am fully aware my coat had some bobbling. I had bought a clothes razor which had broken but I assumed that this “high end, designer” shop would have the equipment to de-bobble a coat. As I left the shop the door hit my shoe, I didn’t feel inclined to hang around and close the door but I suddenly heard the slam as she swung it shut behind me. I’d recommend not putting yourself in this position, especially if you’re not feeling 100% resilient at the moment. Encounters like this are unnecessary and leave people who have good intentions wanting a bit of a return on their investment, not wanting their clothes to end up in landfill and people who may have been customers in the past wanting to never step foot in these premises again. Just to reiterate, you went the extra mile to be unhelpful, impersonal and rude frankly."
