Reviews
"Smugglers inn? Smuggle me out. Dirt flooring bar. Food not great. Owner Very disrespectful. Would not recommend at all. Needs more training. Call the hotel lady inspection from the TV."
"We came here as a table of 6 and I unfortunately left very disappointed. My partner had the burger which he said was very dry and the bun was inedible it was burnt. I had the roast lamb, the lamb itself was very nice and tender and the roast potatoes were good but the veg was very bog standard - just boiled carrots, green beans and peas, and the gravy was incredibly watery and bland. We had a child with us and the staff were very unaccommodating, they wouldn't even swap the mash for chips with the sausages, and no actual kids menu. I had high hopes because the reviews are really good, maybe they were just having a bad day but I don't think we will be returning."
"Amazing pub! An amazing atmosphere with real heritage, staff absolutely top class and very friendly, made us feel so welcomed! And the food was outstanding, a must visit if you’re in the area 5 ⭐️ experience."
"Delicious food and very generous portions. Food came out piping hot which was very nice considering most places the food is only warm at best by the time it arrives at the table. My partner said it was the best pie he’d had in a very long time. Staff member who was alone did a very good job and was very attentive. Will return next time!"
"Excellent food and obliging service. My party consisted 1 meat eater, 1 vegetarian and 2 vegans we were all well catered for and satisfied. The building was pleasantly ancient and the atmosphere very nice."
