Reviews
"Overall disappointed with the taste of the food & cocktails unfortunately. Food wasn't at all what we were expecting after reading such great reviews & cocktails were too bitter (which the waitress agreed on & replaced but unfortunately the replacements were just as bad) & you couldn't taste any alcohol therefore we ordered two more shots of whiskey as the taste of too much lemon overpowered our drinks. Because of this two cocktails cost €34. Wings were nice but nothing overly special in my opinion. Steak on the stone was bland & the side portion of potatoes tasted a few days old which we didn't eat. Proper Twelve pepper sauce was nice. I hate to write a negative review as I was so looking forward to trying this place & travelled all the way from Galway for this reason only. Staff were lovely & the venue was spotless, I couldn't fault either. Also, we did enjoy the forged stout. Also, presentation was good. Such a pity about the taste of the food & cocktails were a let down for us."
"Lovely establishment. Great ambience and the decor is exceptional. The food was exquisite, large plates and huge amount of choice. Lot of variety in drinks. We all had a good time. Staff were very helpful and continuously checked on our table. The only feedback I'd like to leave is that there should be an option to upgrade the fries that come with your burger."
"The steak was really good! Great quality and you can cook it to your taste on the stone. Mash however wasn’t great. Tasted like it had been pre portioned and was sitting under a heat lamp so it was dried out. Stout was very good as was the soup. It was still the Holiday menu so some items weren’t available. The curry was very flavourful and had a good kick to it. Servers were attentive. They give you a 2 hour dining time, and they came 15 min before we were finished our allotted time and asked us to go to the bar side so they could clean the table. I’m not a fan of allotted times for dinner especially when you’re spending decent money at an establishment"
