"This is the worst place to have food in Dublin. 1. The mouth watering snacks on their menu is not fresh. For ex, we had Tikki chat and we expected the original aloo tikki but no, they used frozen tikki. Imagine gated carrot mixed with chole, it was worst experience. 2. We had papdi chat, they used namak pare as a substitute for papdi, so not authentic. 3. Chicken fried rice, I was expecting at least this to be better and indian style but no, it's worst. It totally looks they have hired A student who does not know how to cook. I should not even start on Ambience - there is no table cloth, 3rd class dhaba chairs, no water served, no tissues on table 1 waiter not able to manage doing all the work. Absolutely Pathetic!!!!!"
"Wow, so delicious! Butter chicken was so great, but the best was naan. Amazing taste"
"I arranged my daughter’s birthday party at Ambala by Darbar hall. It was a very good experience. The hall is quite spacious. The owner was very cooperative and responsive. All the arrangements were perfect. The food was amazing. Everyone liked it. Just a bit delay in service because of one waiter. Otherwise it was good overall."
"Had lunch at Darbar with my family. We ordered a selection of Indian street food; Papdi chaat, samosa chaat and pani puri, which was really tasty. We ordered Halwa Puri which I thought had a bit too much clarified butter (ghee) in it. Prawn biryani was salty at the start but quite delish as you ate more of it. The best part is their freshly made Indian sweets, we ordered rasmalai, gulab jamun and rasgulla, and they were divine! I'd go back for just the sweets!!"
"Went Ambala for a light dinner with husband. The staff were excellent with outstanding service. The food was served very promptly and it was very delicious. To add to it we purchased some mithai (Indian sweet) to take home with us. Lovely place with dedicated staff along with lush food. Will highly recommend. The picture shows what we had,"
