Reviews of Milano
"Slowest, most inattentive staff I've experienced in quite some time. Between being seated and taking my order, must have been 15 minutes. At times I was genuinely wondering if we were being ignored on purpose, as it wasn't even busy. Food was fine, average. I've had better pizza in countless places. The chilli "king prawns" are an insult to king prawns however. They should supply a magnifying glass so you can see them. I've heard good things but my experience was anything but. I wouldn't recommend Milanos if you're in Dun L, not worth the price."
"Dinner was Milanos in Dun Laoghaire. The customer service from the manager sucked. we came in at 940. They apparently stop seating at 945. The manager said, to the servers, “Close enough” and told us we could order take away. When we ordered take away, it was like we were asking too much. One of the wait staff “Hate Cut” our pizza. The aggression she took out on the pizza should have been enough to cure whatever anger she had, but it didn’t, and the pizza wasn’t even fully cut. Now before anyone comes at me about coming close to closing time, I used to work in the food industry. If we closed at 10 and someone ordered at 959, guess what? We made it. Pizza was good though, even though it was barely cut haha."
"It was a lovely place to have lunch with my family. A colouring paper and penciles were provided for babies to keep my son stay quite. The dishes were delicious. We enjoyed it."
"Lovely bright restaurant with quality pizza. Great for families. Good service and friendly staff. Not easy to park, but there are 2 multi-storey car parks just round the corner about 5 minutes walk. Or you can arrive at the Dart station just in front."
"Pizzas are not cheap by any measure. 12.75€ for a simple Margherita! In Italy, it's half the price :) Nevertheless, pizza base was good. Ordered a salad bowl, which was tasty. Would have liked a bigger portion though for the price. Brownie for dessert... chocolatey! Cappuccino was lukewarm so it was sent back. Returned piping though. Very much appreciated."
