"Very good experience as writing today. .Got in with the idea to get few starters with 2 young boys. Ordered wings, nachos and chips. Great size portions for starter meals - even got to take some home Super friendly staff, plenty tvs for sports fans, nice airy size pub and comfy seats. Also handy parking across the road front of the small shops."

"I may be wrong but I think there is new management. I rarely post negative reviews here. But.... I just go in for 1 pint and some peace & quiet in the pool room, excellent tables & cues, friendly and courteous staff but a new 'rule' introduced whereby one may not close the door over in the pool room. The kitchen is adjacent and you can hear all other customers and diners and the kitchen sounds, it's not as peaceful as it once was. I asked about closing the door over, was rebuked twice. it's not a fire door, it's not a legal obligation just for whatever reason the door must remain open. A real shame as I used to enjoy quiet time there."
