"Stayed in Lake View for a kayaking weekend with a group of friends. It's an amazingly warm and cosy cottage, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The games room and swimming pool were both fantastic and kept us entertained when heavy rain meant we couldn't get on the river and the hot tub was a fantastic way to warm up after a day of beach walking. We shall definitely return. Highly recommended."
"What can we say that hasn't been said already. Just returned from a week at Little Dunley cottages. The cottage itself was immaculate, the hot tub was perfect after a day out and about. The grounds where peaceful and quiet. A welcome gift was totally unexpected, but appreciated. We really have found a little gem and will be returning. Well done to all involved at Little Dunley, definately 5*****"
"Would recommend to couples for a very quiet retreat. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Everything that you need is in the cottages. We stayed in Willow and were not disappointed. Larger cottages are available for bigger families and friends. We will be coming back in the future."
"On arrival we found a parking space within easy walking distance to our cottage (Maple). Very quiet and relaxing location. The cottage was very clean and tidy on first inspection, a few bugs, spiders, cobwebs and a random button were found on closer inspection, but nothing unexpected. Bottle of prosecco on the welcome tray along with a visitor's guide. The cottage was very well laid out and very spacious, the bathroom is a good size with a large walk in shower. The bedroom again is a good size with e.ty.of wardrobe space and coat hangers provided, there is also space under the bed to store your bags and suitcase. The double bed and mattress is very soft and comfortable when you sit on it, but after a few nights sleep, we woke up the next morning, feeling a little aches, this is probably a firmness preference. The kitchen, sitting room and dining area are all in one and it works out well, as there is plenty of space to be in and around the kitchen. Comfortable sofa and large TV. Small garden area, but it works well with the hot tub, deck chairs and table and chairs provided. The hot tub is amazing after a long day out walking, we did have a few issues with the temperature, but these were easily fixed. We were unable to close the blind and didn't have any hot water one morning, but a quick to Dom and he came over to fix the issue. Nothing is too much trouble for Dom and he will gladly pop over and see you, if you have any issues. Close to many towns and amenities, including a pub, a supermarket and many independent shops. Would definitely stay here, if ever visiting south Devon."
"When we were there (May) Little Dunley was very quiet, which meant we had free access to the excellent games facilities, including the tennis court and swimming pool. The complex is very isolated but lovely, particularly down by the lakes. If your eating out be prepared for at least a short drive and remember a lot of the roads are very narrow."
