Reviews
"Bought Hatton Hill organic Cayenne pepper 1kg but it was cheap red chilli powder in the bag which upset my stomach. So using in garden now to keep squirrels and cats away. No reply from Hatton Hill to my queries."
"Poor poor experience all the way- didn’t post my order, claiming they did. For the unavailable items, reimbursed me partially- it took numerous emails to get the correct amount reimbursed. Such a waste of time and mental health. Never again!"
"Sad to write this as a longstanding customer but I received around £25 worth of bug-infested basmati rice and bird's eye chilli. Hatton Hill initially promised a refund then never responded to my multiple follow-up emails. Hatton Hill, are you there? Happy to take this review down if you give me the refund I am owed."
"OMG! Worst customer service, I am amazed that every single google review about the company turns out to be true. Unfortunately I have read the reviews after placing an order with them. I have placed an order and waited 8 days for my parcel and they didn’t send any tracking info and I have to chase them to get update on my order, they said one item is out of stock reason we haven’t dispatched your order yet. I asked them for a substitute and after 10 days I have received my incomplete order 1 item missing which again they didn’t tell me when I was asking them for my tracking id. This is so bad that I have to chase them again and again for a simple order."
"Only half my order was sent due to items being out of stock - I wasn’t informed of this in advance and was given no option to wait til they were in stock or to cancel my whole order. The toasted sesame seeds were over toasted and bitter, the cashews smelled a bit fishy and didn’t seem the best quality. Two stars because of competitive prices - but I prefer to pay a bit more now for good service and quality of items elsewhere."
