"It's a pretty standard Co-op with all the basics. Recently it's gotten ridiculous expensive, to the degree that local independent stores have better deals and also offer better choice and quality of fruit and veg. The biggest problem with this store is though that they don't update the price tags. They constantly show outdated deals or just wrong, former prices, with the surprise at the checkout. Challenging staff about this just results in a " this deal is expired" response. It comes close to actively trying to sell product at higher prices than advertised."
"This is the most expensive national chain supermarket in east London. Currently attempting to sell branded Weetabix at 17.7p whilst ceasing to stock their own brand version which was half the price. The store is staffed by a security guard who does not work for directly for Coop. Dystopian stuff."
"Theft at this store is out of control and thats because there is a halfway house above the address of this store. They litterly come downstairs and steal then go back to there rooms. Its terrible and most of the bad reveiws are valid but just imagine having to work there or be a security gaurd. I wouldnt wanna do it, Fighting with smackheads over bottles of wine or boxes of chocolates. These junkies are proper scumbags and they have been known to attack other customers who have challenged them. I will be supprised if they dont shut that particular store down when the lease is up. I didnt even want to put 1 star."
"The worst security guard. So rude! I know there's a terrible problem with shoplifting in this store but not everyone shopping here is trying to steal from you. I had a slight issue with the self service till as it glitched out and went to payment before I was ready. The security guard, instead of asking if he could help, accused me of messing with the machine. Please listen to these locals reviews and sort out your staff issues"
