Reviews of Ulster Hall
"Went here to see Tori Amos with my son. It was a full house as you'd expect but it's a great venue. The sound was amazing and the lighting superb and this is all 'in house' equipment so nothing special which makes it even more impressive. Although Tori didn't do a lot from her back catalogue the new stuff was impressive. The bass guitarist and drummer have to be applauded. It's just a pity that people can't do without drinking at these events and then spend concert time running to the loo. Skaar was the warm up act and she was great. From Norway she is coming back to do her own show in The Black Box in October and we have tickets for that. Watch this space."
"We saw Beth Hart last night. She is utterly superb. The venue is lovely and sound excellent but Beth set her keyboards up to one side of the stage making it impossible to see her for several songs due to the overhang of the balcony. Fortunately the staff were helpful and moved us to better position but this should not happen and her crew should have been informed as there were many like us. Otherwise great evening in splendid venue."
"Amazing night seeing Trivium again. Hadn't been in the Ulster Hall in well over 10 years so was nice to see the renovations. Staff were really helpful and friendly as I remember, onky downside or suggestion I would make is saying if the merch stand is card only or not, cos not everyone is comfortable bring a card incase of loss etc. But a great night in a beautiful building"
"My first live concert experience was here at the Ulster Hall, saved pocket money for weeks to go to see/hear Rory Gallagher - 1974. Last night watching the Floyd play their best material with lighting and film backdrops to match, pure uplifting magic!"
"Great venue! Stunning vintage decor. As we were there for a gig it was hard to see at first but the organ at the back was incredible. Staff were very polite and efficient."
