Reviews
"Decent hotel with lovely staff but extremely noisy from the moment I arrived to when I left. Was woke up during the night with noise. Facilities were standard"
"Highly Recommended!! Awesome experience all round , the meeting rooms are great , really scenic break out spaces and coffee shop. The staff are what truly makes this venue they all go above and beyond with a very accommodating attitude..."
"Room was big and quite clean, bed was comfy, lots of hot water, nice decor and good breakfast BUT big design flaws that make it very noisy and too light at night (wardrobes, room doors etc are really heavy and clumsy and slam making really loud bangs and crashes you can hear from down the corridor and beyond). The windows stretch the whole far wall and the curtains don't block enough of the light from the really bright lights in inner courtyard or the sunlight. All in all, not a great night's sleep at all. The lighting is also a bit strange, quite bright or quite dark and no lamp or controls on far side of bed at all. Cold draught from windows on one side of bed and hot radiator on other side. Both power sockets at desk/dressing table didn't work so had to sit on floor and dry my hair. Reported to reception but were just told they'd add it to list for maintenance, no apology or anything which might have been nice. Don't think we'll be back for this price."
"The building is very nice but the rooms are in no way soundproof from each other. In the room I had I could hear TV noise and conversation with exceptional clarity from the rooms both sides. A very poor night's sleep as a result when one room barrelled I at 3am quite drunk."
"Stayed at the hotel from 26 to 28 Sept. It is a really beautiful hotel. On the first evening I got locked in my room after using the internal lock on the door. The Night manager was really helpful and after letting me out reassured me that the hotel was extremely safe and there was no need to use the internal lock when in the room. After a very long day, when I arrived late the next evening I couldn't get into my room with my card key. I went back down to reception where they recoded the key card. When I got in my room there was already a key card in the wall. The room was very cold, the curtains were billowing because the sliding door was open. There was a make-up stained towel which replaced the one I had used that morning. Otherwise, the bathroom had not been cleaned - or someone had used it since it was cleaned"
