"Our first night staying here. The rooms are simple clean and spacious. Lovely views. Comfy beds and heating. The food is super tasty and all the staff are really helpfull and friendly. They all really do make you feel special. The hole atmosphere makes you feel at home. Comfortable. Everyone working so hard to make our stay enjoyable. Keep up the amazing work."
"I liked everything about the Hotel, I had previously stayed before. The only thing that muddied my experience this time was the lack of food in the restaurant. We made several attempts to order food only to be told, sorry, we have sold out on both adult and children's menu. When we managed to order a few moments later the waitress came over and said we have no mash are chips ok. We also ordered macaroni cheese that contained no cheese at this point we gave up"
"Nice to lovely location... plenty of parking.. close to so much that you can visit or see.. Really enjoy my stays here.. Staff are friendly & helpful.. Wish it cost slightly less to stay here & I could then come more often... Its biggest problem... is its customer's.. so many don't care how much noise they make.. or how much their behaviour might upset others.. Even now whilst I am looking out onto the grass below our window.. I am seeing a bottle thrown from the next door room ??, ( heard the laughter & noise on our first evening).. & now plastic bags & lids !!. Why do people behave this way . Hotel tries so hard to please.. Fantastic effort at Halloween. Couldn't be better.. but so disappointed other guests.. so often."
"We stayed here as a family of 2+2 (7 & 12 years old) and we stayed as part of a package with entrance to Wookey Hole. Wookey Hole was amazing and the staff were great. The lunch food there is filling food but nothing special. The hotel room was clean and a good size and even had a balcony. The staff on front desk were nice, welcoming and knowledgeable. 4 stars as the restaurant is like a truckers stop, the food isn’t great and needs an overhaul - great this right and it would be a 5."
"Nice accommodation for the price charged, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful! Made the event I was attending a great success and enjoyable! The setting is breathtaking, with the surrounding geographical features and the caves, as well as the fun Dinosaur Park and Witches Laboratory!"
