"Incompetent, please be aware before taking out extended warranties, it's a task in itself getting through to them, was on hold for 46 minutes yesterday, tried first thing this morning after going through all the options got cut off once through. Would pay more to other companies than buying from Currys, never again."

"This has to be the poorest experience I had ever had with any company. Been paying for a tech insurance for over 20 months and my laptop suddenly stopped working. I've taken it to my local Currys store, they failed to provide me with a temporary laptop as part of the tech insurance and they way they operate with these repairs is absolutely shocking. No updates from them at any stage, they force you to go on their website and check daily what's the latest. And if they need to speak to you, they expect you to call otherwise you product might be there for years! And on top of that, they one of these poor companies that still justify delays and really bad customers service by using the covid-19 card. Don't bother buying for them or paying for add-on product covers."

"I had horrible experience with teamknow and Currys - how I bought brand new Samsung ultra 250 which was faulty and after few months started to give issues! Called Currys and team knowhow booked it for repair and said they will repair and return it within a week - but more than a week passed by no news no mobile - chat help line is not helpful as they saying they don’t deal with online issues or repair. Phone helpline is not working as no one knows what happened and kept on putting me through to other departments. Last text was delivery is on Monday and then after 50 calls a voice message that it will be delivered tomorrow but seems that tomorrow wouldn’t come! Used Currys twice both times horrible experience do not buy from them especially expensive items in my case it was about £1300! Biggest issue is with mobile you don’t know as it still might have my personal data so I’ll have a very uncomfortable Christmas and new year - thanks to horrible Currys and useless team knowhow"

"My laptop which I purchased from curry's was still covered by warranty ,but needed a repair and took it back to curry's, over the course of a month and making enquiries , they decided that the laptop was lost or stolen which considering all the financial and family details on the laptop was most worrying - I was promised a similar replacement , but in reality they knew that they were out of stock and this would not happen. Six weeks after I had originally taken my laptop to curry's I received a text from "team know how" to say my laptop had been found and could I phone them because they have a query. ---- I have now been waiting on the phone for an hour without any answer. Curry's give good prices on new purchases but if you need any after sales service they are useless."

"Absolute terrible service, i ordered a bunch of refrigerators for an event, and I paid an extra £50 for a next day delivery, and for some reason they didn’t take the money out of my account. When I realised I wasn’t getting my order on the day I paid for, I contacted them to explain I would have to collect instead, so please do not continue to take money out of my account as I will be purchasing from the store. They assured me that the order had been cancelled, money had not been taken out of my account and no money would be. Fast forward to two days later and see the entire charge come right out of my bank account. No response from them by email service. Shocking. Avoid at all costs, just go to the next door Curries and buy and Uber XL. Much better option."
