He spent a full afternoon trying to source the faulty part from various locations. Unfortunately this wasn't possible. A couple of days later when the parts arrived fitted them. "I am quite fortunate having, not only a garage down my road, but also a very good garage owned for a very long time too, by a very experienced, knowledgeable, fair, kind and flexible car mechanic and Frank at Essex Road Garage are exactly that. We all know how tricky and almost impossible it is to find a good, trustworthy garage/ mechanic, who is not going to rip you off, who is going to be honest and straight up and look after your car. I started going to Frank's nearly five years ago, which is from the beginning of my residency here and I won't go anywhere else! I have had my Honda serviced, MOTed, fixed, checked, oiled, looked after perfectly by Frank and as above, with an honest diagnosis and a fair price deal. He is also very friendly and funny and we have struck up a good relationship laughing and car talking. "AVOID THIS PLACE. I put my car in for MOT here. I heard nothing from them until I called at 4pm to ask for an update. The response? We haven't done your MOT and, by the way, you have a parking ticket because we left your car in the road all day rather than MOTing it. Owner refused to do the right thing and pay for the ticket and claimed it was a private matter between me and his mechanic. Incredibly short-sighted for a small business in a crowded market that relies on positive word of mouth. Still at least he saved £40 on the ticket... Choose one of the many other garages in the local area."
