"I needed help with some spurs on formal military boots (obviously quite niche). The original cobbler I went to had no idea but recommended Classic Shoe Repairs. I took the boots in and they solved the issue quickly and gave me great advice. They didn’t charge for this despite spending a good bit of time ensuring they understood the problem and giving appropriate advice. They suggested that instead, if I wanted to, they collect for Bernardos and I could put something in the tin. Staff were very friendly and professional and the shop is modern and clean. It seems like a family business that really focuses on quality and service, even from this first interaction. If you want good advice then I fully recommend, I expect the repairs are equally high standard. Excellent customer service. I’ll definitely use them in future."

"I have been amazed and delighted by the startlingly high quality of this business. I found them by chance and they have now taken on a few pieces of work for me, of which the most significant was the comprehensive restoration of a bag with very deep sentimental value that I have owned for over 30 years. They won my trust initially by doing brilliant work on another couple of items, then charging an incredibly reasonable rate compared to several other firms that I had also talked to. When I brought my bag in, they examined it carefully and were very creative in working out what they could to do bring it back to life. They also won further respect by being very honest and transparent with me about the limits of what they could do and how long the work could take. It was clear to me that they really wanted me to make the right decision for me and did not want to push me into anything - they wanted to be sure that I truly understood what to expect. They were then proactive in keeping me informed about the work and finished it within the timescales they had led me to believe. When I went to collect the bag, it had been done brilliantly and was worth every penny. This was made even better by the incredible niceness and genuine charm of everyone I talked to. This is truly a customer service business and I never doubted for a second that they really wanted what was right for me rather than trying to make as much money as they could. I regard this as a true partnership based on real trust as well as their deep expertise and skill, and I would never now consider going anywhere else."

"Brought in some generally difficult shoes to repair. Paid between 100-200 for said repair (understandable), was told it would take 3 weeks (fine), came back to see the shoes were repaired but they had completely lost the in built orthotic that was present in the shoes. After bringing this up, was told they'd build a new one. Came back, wrong size. Came back again and the shoes were misshapen and generally quite uncomfortable. Considering it took about 5-6 visits to get this result. Will not be returning. Which is a shame the staff seemed nice and the original repair job was actually completed to standard. Took to another cobbler to ease the discomfort/shape."

"Thank you so much classic shoe repairs for doing an incredible job of refurbishing my completely worn out Louboutins. The shoes are very intricate and were a metallic gold colour so extremely difficult to work with. I got quotes elsewhere for up to £400 for the job of refurbishing the uppers, replacement red soles, rubber soles and heel tips and classic shoe repairs completed the work beautifully for £70. I will definitely return and recommend this place for providing such a professional service which is also used by all the high end department stores and boutiques. Thank you!"
