"Hiring Alphabet Dogs has been one big issue after another, after I regrettably gave this firm more than one chance. John the owner, cares for your dog himself or has third-party suppliers doing it, and he takes a cut every time you hire them - so it’s triangle relationship. In my cases, John did some of the work himself, as did Sergui, and duo Jeanne and Sarah Hornshaw. The one time I booked Jeanne and Sarah Hornshaw my dog started to be sick in their care. I was not informed of that and I also received no response when I asked if my dog was ok. Then my dog had to visit the vet with illnesses, which cost me more than the 2 night dog boarding bill and my dog was sick for 8 days. I asked for a discount as I did not feel the service had reasonable care. In response, Sarah Hornshaw immediately started a small claim in the courts against me for £40 ultimately without negotiating back first, without apologising, with terrible customer service and with no pre-Claim letter. The claim document even had lies in it! I showed my boyfriend and friend the messages this company and their suppliers sent me, and they were horrified."
