"The Pear tree is a great little pub with a cosy old homely atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and are very knowledgeable when it comes to beer selection, I have yet to try the food yet but from the look of the menu it looks delicious and at an affordable price point. Being an NHS worker from the hospital a few metres away it's my go to pub for a Friday after work drink with colleagues to relax after a hard week."
"Super friendly service and reasonably priced drinks. Dog friendly and brought out water to our two dachshunds. A little off the beaten track, but we'd moved on from a pub on the riverfront that was heaving and playing uncomfortably loud music (so loud, we could no longer hear each other without shouting). The Pear Tree was quiet without being empty, and everyone (staff and locals) were super friendly and welcoming (even when one of the dogs ran behind the bar...)"
"Love this pub, their beer garden is beautiful, with a mature pear tree as the centre piece. There are a couple of charming little rooms for privacy, one with a hot tub in the back and one with a couple of old sofas. Very cosy"
