"no shampoo no water no mirror on the table. its a small things but very annoying without it. went outside at 11 pm to get water. to be honest, i would never come here again."
"Water came through roof and electrics failed We were given an 'upgrade' on arrival, lord knows what rhe other room was like. 1. The bed linen had not been changed and we found pubic hairs and a cigarette lighter under the duvet. 2. The pillows were dirty. 3. It was raining and a leak started down the side if the wall mear the bed stead. 4. There was a constant drip drip all night so sleep was minimal. 5. The electrics shorted so there was no light in the shower cubicle. 5. There was mold on rhe shower curtain. 6. The kettle did not work in the morning as the sockets had shorted. 7. When we told receotion about the leak they explained rhat was because it was raining ... Apart from rhat it was ok ..."
"Great location but room 44 was abysmal. You walked down a few steps to a cot in a closet. That was the sleeping situation. Worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. And it was a metal rollaway cot. Tiny bathroom with the tinyest of sinks and we couldn’t figure out the funky shower faucets and nearly scalded ourselves. Shower door was off the rails. Chipped paint and drywall everywhere. Very rough and not that cheap. Glad our stay was about three hours waiting for the 6am Eurostar."
"Firstly I woukld like to give a big thank you to all the staff at the hotel and espeially yannis the manager. I accidentally booked the wrong date for my stay and they happily refunded me with ease as no other rooms where available. They handled this so well that I was happy to pay the extra when I found an apartment became available instead of a room. The attentive and caring staff made me feel very welcome. Check in was fun and easy with yannis being very pleasant and friendly. The apartment was lovely, very homely, clean, tidy and the perfect walk from King's Cross and the hotel. I've stayed at many of the hotels in the are but ill be definalty be coming back to this one in future."
"Excellent location. No soundproof rooms, cracking floors. I could hear steps and everything from the floor above. The Internet didn't work for me and although they were super friendly, their only action was to ask me to turn it off and on again (which it didnt work). I couldn't work from my room at all without Internet."
