"King Street nursery is one of the best nurseries in Bristol. All the ladies there (Mariam, Sadaf, Jess...) look after the kids with love, care and professionalism!"
"Unfortunately we wre not lucky with this place. Girls are lovely and they treat kids good. The manager, Vera is not than good, she is rude and not very helpful. After a few months having my baby there i can say the customer service in this company is non existing! We had an issue amd this girls ended up saying: As you are clearly not happy i will take this as a four weeks notice. We did Not want to take my baby out of there...but she couldnt handle a simple complaint. After weeks waiting to speak with the senior manager we obviously decided to take that notice and go. It is embarrasing the way they handled that. I definitely can say i had the worst customer service ever. I also know form other ms how rude this people could be...and seriously...i couldnt imagine this when my son was there. The girls are fantastic, the managment is sadly useless."
"A wonderful nursery with brilliant staff. My little one has been here for a year and absolutely loves it. The nursery provides a great range of structured activities both indoors and outdoors (including forest school and visits around the local area) and I am constantly amazed at the amount my child has learnt whilst here. An excellent choice with a lovely environment and good central location."
"It's been a while since we had not a very pleasant experience with this nursery... I hate being negative so I decided not to leave any bad reviews.. but after hearing a couple of other shocking stories about this nursery I felt responsible to tell other parents that this is not the best place to send your little one to, especially if they cannot speak yet. To start with I think it's important to saay that I chose this nursery because it had an ofsted "outstanding" rating and it was nice and clean, with all brand new facilities. In our case we were treated not very well by the manager of this nursery when I tried to send my little one there. It was the tasting session, where I had to leave my LO at the nursery for one hour. I knew he would be very frustrated to be left alone because he had never been without me before but teachers told me not to worry about it and if he cried longer than 15-20 minutes they would give me a call. I spent the whole hour walking around the nursery to make sure I am close by, but no one called me which seemed weird but promising. When I came back to pick my LO up manager of the nursery stoped me in the corridor and started to tell me how frustrated and unsettled my kid was the whole hour.(which initially was my biggest concern and the reason why I wanted teacher to call me) The manager was very negative, I almost felt like she was telling me off for how my kid was... she told me they would not be able to take THIS KIND OF UNSETTLED KID! At first I didn't realize how rude she was so I asked her if there was anyway we could work on it but she said that I would have to bring him everyday for a month or two for him to get used to nursery(which she knew was not possible at all in our case),basically she just wanted to get rid of us. Being a parent you probably know how sensetive the first nursery experience is for both baby and parents.. manager of abbey wood tots made it one of the worst experiences I've had as a parent. My little one was very frustrated not only because he cried the whole hour but also because when I came back for him he heard my voice but I couldn't even go in because I was stopped by the manager and was told off for at least 10 minutes! After that one hour at abbeywood tots it took us two months(!!!!) to get our confident and calm kid back. He was nervous and very scared of being left alone even in other room at home. It was very difficult and sad to see him like that. When I called the nursery to say I would not be taking my child to them they never asked why or suggested anything, they just said 'oh, ok, thank you, good bye!' I was never rude to anyone at the nursery, so I have no idea why I was treated like that. I guess it's just their way of choosing whom to deal with and whom to reject. If I were you I would never ever send my child to abbey wood tots nursery. I won't tell other stories because they are not mine and I cannot be 100% sure of the story, but I do believe they could happen there..."
"Fantastic nursery all round - caring staff, varied and tailored teaching that is specific to the children's needs, great organic food, educational days out, comprehensive development reporting...the list could go on. An example of top quality nursery care in the UK."
