"Appalling service, they get my prescription wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. I'm housebound and my wife goes to get my prescription every month, yet every single month they make her sit and wait for 45 minutes to 1 hour to get the prescription, then when they get it wrong, she then has to sit there for another 30 minutes. How hard is it? It's the same prescription every single month, and every single month they forget the morphine, then argue and say it hasnt come through, then my wife calls me and I have to shout at them, and then they find it. Absolute clowns. Since Paul doesn't seem to work in there anymore their standards have dropped well below par, and if my wife drive we'd pick a different chemists. I'd give them 0 stars if I was allowed."
"Recently I’ve been trying to use pharmacists where possible instead of the GP as I know there’s a shortage of appointments. Nipped into Lloyds today at 12pm as I injured my shoulder two days go and it’s still quite painful. I asked if the pharmacist was available, the lady then went out into the back. She came back and told me the pharmacist had said to just take ibuprofen and put gel on it. I was a little shocked that I’d been given medical advice without being seen. I then asked when she would be available to be told to come back after 2pm in a rude way. I don’t understand how a break lasts for 2hours? Further to this, I saw the same thing happen but with a 7 week old baby! Medical advice being given without seeing the baby."
"So inept they don't even understand opening times. They state that they are open until 1pm on Saturdays, yet when I arrived at 12:55 they were shut. Hopeless! I have had enough. I am going to change my nominated pharmacy. It's a shame because I like to support our local shops."
"Absolutely disgusting staff. Visited today with my niece and have never in my life seen a staff member talk to people the way she did. She had total disregard to customers. She spoke to customers like they were dirt and she was getting away with it. I didn’t say anything as my nice said they will only hold it against her next time she goes in and make her wait longer. They only get away with that behaviour because of where they are. Disgusting vile shop with disgusting vile shop workers."
"I don't understand all the bad reviews for this place! It's been my chemist for as long as it's been there and the staff are lovely! yes they are chatty but they work the whole time! what sort of person wants a place where they don't deem you worthy to talk to? i'l tell you who! snobs! I'd sooner not come across these type people in my chemist so please do steer clear if you are unfriendly or think you are better than the next person!. The staff are friendly and helpful, Lawrence Weston has never been known for being the height of health, there may be a lot of patients to attend to needing prescriptions, the staff can only go as quick as humanly possible, and if the pharmacist hasn't got round to doing the numerous ones they receive daily then it is not their fault. I rarely see the pharmacist/s sit down and everybody is entitled to a dinner hour. If you want to blame anyone for long waits then blame the people making the cuts in this country, closing down things everywhere they can and especially in the area's needing it the most!. In short: If you don't want a friendly, approachable, helpful chemist then go elsewhere and maybe you will have to wait a little but this is by no means the fault of staff, its down to sheer volume of need!. I have suffered with Agoraphobia, Depression, Anxiety and PTSD for many years and have always felt quite safe and tended to here. The staff know only what my prescription tells them so make no special privileges for me more than they would any other patient. Please feel free to go elsewhere if you are not happy with their excellent service you won't be happy anywhere else!"
